Indonesia's Natural Resources
Indonesia, comprising Of more than 17,000 islands,
is the largest archipelagic country in the world.
Lying in the middle of the equator line, between the Pacific
and the Hindi Oceans, Indonesia is blessed with tropical forests
and abundant natural resourcesm rich volcanoes and natural springs
from Sabang to Merauke. With its many forms of wildlife
and fertile soils, the nation produces a vast array of spices,
which have been actively traded in the commodity market
along with gold and silver. Indonesia is a truly hidden pearl
in the heart of the tropics.
As an agricultural nation, Indonesians rely heavily
on rice (Oryza Sativa) production. The Indonesians embrace
the rice philosophy as a wisdom principal.
On top of being the major staple food,
it embodies the culture of patience and humbleness,
as the paddy plant "bows" lower as it grows heavier.
Apart from its natural resources, Indonesia's heavily diverse culture
gave way to a noble physical and inner beauty.
The balance of these two concepts is the true beauty,
which in ancient Javanese proverb is called
"Rupasampat Wahyabiantara"
